The
best thing about being adult is that I don't worry about things I
felt lack of ten years ago. I don't feel obliged to give everyone the
impression that I'm a lucky and up-to-date person. With hindsight, I
recognize now
how relaxed I feel in my own skin. I can ignore an opinion of
people so as to act in my way.
When
I was a teenager
I could hardly imagine what adults do in their age. Life seemed
endless. I mean when you're at your tender
age and too immature, the future seems obscure and mysterious. When I
look back I find myself changed in some ways, for instance, I guess I
am
more satisfied and feel pretty
content. There are
too many advantages in thirties and
I'm not in a panic about it so that I don't need to seek other
people's approval. I've outgrown some desires like staying out until
the early hours or willingness to be similar to
my friends.
Well,
frankly, I sometimes kick myself for missing some chances in my past.
Probably, some people could say that if they were younger they could
make things turn round because they would act in another way. I doubt
it's true.
In conclusion, I
should say that the best thing about
getting older is that you become more sophisticated and experienced
so that you appreciate all
the circumstances or events around
you.
